In this issue, we are honored to invite Mr. Shi Yuxun, a postdoctoral fellow from Sun Yat-sen University Ophthalmology Center, to share with us the overview of ophthalmic experimental zoology and glaucoma models, from basic knowledge to application, and introduce the overview and application of animal models in ophthalmology research; the acute high intraocular pressure (HIOP) model of glaucoma in detail; and the advantages of the application of the iCare technology in the glaucoma animal model.
