On May 6, 2026, Ocean University of China successfully completed the installation and commissioning of a Small Animal Ultrasound Imaging System. Technical personnel finalized equipment positioning, parameter calibration, and overall performance testing. With all indicators meeting the standards for scientific research use, the system has now been officially put into operation.

The system features non-invasive real-time imaging, high-definition soft tissue differentiation, and dynamic organ monitoring. It is ideally suited for marine biology research, physiological and pathological detection in laboratory animals, as well as cardiovascular and visceral structural imaging studies.

This advanced equipment provides critical hardware support for teaching and research across disciplines such as Marine Life Sciences, Aquatic Medicine, and Developmental Biology at the university. Its integration enhances the capabilities of the university-level public research platform for laboratory animals and will significantly boost the development of "Double First-Class" disciplines and the efficient execution of related scientific projects.
