Small Animal Ultrasound Equipment Successfully Installed at Harbin Medical University
Release time:
2026-04-10
On April 8, 2026, the Scientific Research Experimental Platform of Harbin Medical University completed the installation and commissioning of a high-resolution small animal ultrasound imaging system. Technicians carried out equipment setup, parameter calibration, performance testing, and hands-on debugging; all metrics met the required standards, and the system was officially put into scientific use.

This advanced system features capabilities such as non-invasive real-time imaging, high-definition soft tissue differentiation, and dynamic organ function detection. It is ideally suited for studies involving rodent models, including research on cardiovascular diseases, tumor modeling, pharmacology and pharmacodynamics, and developmental biology.
The installation of this equipment further enhances the hardware infrastructure of the university’s platforms for Cold Region Medicine, Life Sciences, and Preclinical Research. By strengthening the foundation for disciplinary research, it provides critical support for tackling key challenges in areas such as cardiovascular disease and biomedicine, while also facilitating talent cultivation. This addition serves as a powerful technological cornerstone for the university’s scientific innovation and high-quality disciplinary development.
