The Procyte Dx fully automated blood cell analyzer uses laser flow cytometry to perform a comprehensive analysis of the multiple characteristics of each white blood cell, thereby achieving five classifications of white blood cells.

The ProCyte Dx™ automated hematology analyzer uses three cutting-edge technologies to provide the most comprehensive in-office complete blood count.
This process involves staining sample cells, irradiating each cell with a 633nm laser, and collecting scattered light at multiple angles. Fluorescence with a wavelength of 660nm or even longer (represented by blue) will be collected to accurately measure the nucleic acid content of the cells. Only the Procyte Dx fully automated hematology analyzer has this advanced feature for highly sensitive and accurate analysis.
Third-party research validates the relevance of its test results
Recent studies comparing the Procyte Dx automated hematology analyzer with the Advia® 120, Cell-Dyn® 3700, and Sysmex® XT-V have found good correlations in red blood cell, hematocrit, reticulocyte, platelet, and white blood cell counts.2 These results were presented at the 2010 and 2011 American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine forums.

Detection principle: The five classifications of white blood cells and reticulocytes are detected by combining laser flow cytometry with nucleic acid fluorescence staining; red blood cells are detected by sheath flow impedance method; platelets can provide two test results: impedance method and fluorescence method.
