The small animal ultrasound equipment at the Army Medical University has been successfully installed

On June 13, 2025, the Army Medical University successfully completed the installation and commissioning of a high-resolution small animal ultrasound imaging system. Professional technical staff carried out equipment positioning, wiring layout, parameter calibration, and overall system performance testing. All technical indicators met scientific research standards, and the system has now officially entered service.
This system supports non-invasive in vivo imaging of model animals such as mice and rats, enabling real-time detection of cardiovascular function, organ structures, tumors, and hemodynamics. It is well-suited for research in military medicine, trauma medicine, chronic disease mechanisms, and preclinical evaluation of new drugs. This installation further enhances the hardware capabilities of the university's experimental animal research platform, strengthens fundamental and translational research in military medicine, and provides solid equipment support for discipline development, key research projects, and innovation in military biomedicine.
